A Letter from the owner
Hello Darling,
Welcome — I’m so happy you’re here.
My name is Charlotte, founder of Haus of Willow Events, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I truly love love.
I’m a proudly South African creative with a background in Graphic Design, and my journey into weddings started with stationery creating meaningful details that told a couple’s story beautifully. Over time, I realised that what I loved most wasn’t only the design itself, but the feeling behind it. The atmosphere. The emotion. The way a wedding should feel effortless, intentional, and deeply personal.
Two years ago, I began pivoting my business toward wedding coordination, styling, and bringing entire wedding visions to life - and it felt like coming home.
Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of owning a business that allowed me to create beauty, connect with people, and make others feel seen. After the lockdown in 2020, life unexpectedly pushed me to finally take that leap. What started as freelance design work to help pay bills slowly grew into the business I had always dreamed of building.
Today, Haus of Willow is more than a wedding business to me. It is a safe space. A place where couples can feel understood, supported, and cared for throughout one of the biggest seasons of their lives.
I know how overwhelming weddings can sometimes feel, which is why I want working with me to feel like a deep breath and a warm hug - calm, reassuring, creative, and personal from beginning to end.
Whether I’m styling a tablescape, coordinating timelines behind the scenes, refining the smallest details, or helping bring an unconventional vision to life, my heart is always the same: to create a wedding experience that feels authentically you.
When I say “we,” I actually mean mostly me - with endless love and support from my husband (my biggest cheerleader), a small devoted team of women who help with set-up days and our 2x fur babies (Emotional support behind the scenes).
Thank you for supporting this dream of mine. Every enquiry, every couple, every wedding trusted to me means more than I could ever put into words.
